My Personal Brand Have you ever heard the saying that "change is as good as a holiday" ? there are a multitude of different ways to express the need for something different in life. Hi my name is anita and welcome to my textile journey. For 18 enduring long years I have been a chef working for some of the biggest food chains in and around Brisbane until a close friend and mentor (who was also my high school Home Economics teacher) had an in depth conversation about schools struggling to find specialized teachers with real life experience for subjects like Home Economics.  During the conversation I was asked to consider undertaking a bachelor degree in Education to teach Home Economics. At first the thought of becoming a teacher petrified me as all I knew was how to cook.
